Jeanie C Lucy, O.D., PhD, MPH, MS, F.A.A.O.

Dr. Lucy brings extensive experience in medical eye care, with a focus on conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye disease, and diabetic eye disease. Her background combines clinical care, public health, and education, allowing her to approach eye health from both an individual and long-term perspective.

Throughout her career, Dr. Lucy has held leadership roles in academic and clinical settings, including serving as a dean, educator, and clinical preceptor for future optometrists. She has trained students in ocular disease, clinical procedures, and multispecialty eye care, while also lecturing nationally and internationally on topics related to eye disease and public health.

Dr. Lucy earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry and also holds a PhD in Public Health Leadership, along with master’s degrees in Public Health and Values-Driven Leadership. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and holds staff privileges at Advocate Trinity Hospital in the department of ophthalmic surgery.

Outside the office, Dr. Lucy enjoys biking, traveling, interior design, writing, and spending time with her family.
